If these people are no good they can always step away and leave the opposition camp empty. I can assure you that it will create a crisis so big that something will happen which will cumulate into good strong opposition. To you and others the PAP are already screwing the people anyway, with or without opposition - so there is no difference.

The issue is not whether the opposition is good or bad, and seriously there is nothing wrong not to be talented but passionate. The issue is that many think they are good when they are not.

It's true many are there because no one else wants to be, but think they will be top of the sky once the PAP is out.

I can tell you how my former manager ran a department without knowing anything - and knew he didn't know anything.

I'm not trying to sound like a PAP affiliate but it could lose billions and not end up like Lehmans because it long earlier made more than that to lose a large part of that. It would be rather far-fetched to think they could earn billions by just taxing people and not returning anything.

Let's see how far the opposition and its staunchest supporters can go by remaining with the imagination that Singaporeans somehow came from another planet which they see is the only way to explain why the people kept voting PAP despite it being like North Korea, Myanmar etc.

The partial problem why opposition never made much is because they think PAP is an easy kill. It never struck them that PAP wasn't. To stamp "bad" immediately on what can be good, both good and bad or bad is a bad start itself. You need to know them for the good, and know them for the bad (yes, it's probably hard for people here to imagine that the PAP isn't completely bad and have strong good points that scores on international stage.)
