<DIV class=story_text>I REFER to Mr Clarence Ngian's Online Forum letter on Tuesday, 'No mobile network coverage at Sungei Buloh Wetlands Reserve' and thank him for his comments about the mobile coverage at Sungei Buloh Wetlands Reserve.
We are aware of the generally weak mobile reception at the park, due to its isolated location and obstruction from the thick foliage.
We would like to take this opportunity to let Mr Ngian and all readers know that StarHub will work closely with the authorities to explore how we can optimise our mobile signal reception at the park without causing disruption to the features of the nature reserve.

Thick foliage? Don't kid us. If there reception 10 story underground, obstructed by layers upon layers of concrete, I see not how a few bush and trees are able to obstruct the radio waves.

Sometimes I ended up calling my frens on the Maxis or Celcom (Malaysian) networks, and have to pay higher charges#@$!&%??

And of course, if you use your phone, you pay IDD rates...
