More melodramas for the elderly, please
I NOTE that there are not many TV entertainment programmes catering to the baby-boomers and elderly folk.
Perhaps MediaCorp could consider showing old Mandarin and dialect TV programmes, such as melodramas featuring Taiwanese actresses like Lin Ching Hsia or Hong Kong movie queens like Siu Fong Fong, as well as old English serials like Hawaii Five-O.
I believe that children's shows from the past, such as The Little People, will also be entertaining and educational to today's young ones.
Maybe a special channel could be dedicated to this category of older Singaporeans. I am sure the baby-boomers would appreciate that very much.
