WORKERS can look forward to better wage and bonus rises this year, according to a new survey jointly conducted by the Singapore Human Resources Institute and Remuneration Data Specialists.
It suggests basic wages are set to rise by 2.8 per cent and variable bonuses are likely to be worth the equivalent of 2.2 months' salary this year.
The poll of 164 companies from across a variety of sectors on issues like wage increases, as well as bonus and recruitment plans, says the 2.8 per cent hike in basic wages will apply to all categories of staff - managers, executives and non-executives.
