KEMAMAN: A teenager, unhappy at being spurned by her 27-year-old boyfriend, summoned the help of two female friends to “teach him a lesson”. Armed with sticks, the girl and her friends, aged between 18 and 26, decided to storm into the man’s house at Jalan Da-Omar to bash him up for allegedly going out with another woman.
The trio, who arrived in two motorcycles at about 5pm on Saturday, caused a commotion outside his house as they shouted for the man, a student, to come out. Kemaman OCPD Supt Abdulllah Sani Salat said when there was no response, the trio broke in from the back of the house.
Two younger siblings of the man who were inside the house locked themselves inside one of the rooms as they were terrified. The man was apparently not at home. “The girl and her friends became aggressive when they could not find the boyfriend and they decided to smash up electrical appliances in the house,” he said.
At this point, the man’s siblings contacted their 47-year-old father who was in Kampung Jabor, about a few kilometres from their house. Supt Abdullah Sani said several neighbours came to the aid of the father who rushed to the house and caught the trio before handing them over to the police.
“The girl and her friends are expected to be charged under Section 448 of the Penal Code for trespassing and Section 427 for causing mischief,” he said. He said the teenager was jobless while her friends from Sarawak worked in a snooker parlour here.
