Not 1 but 2 glaring errors on this National Day banner on Spring building

Ben Neo spotted two embarrassing English errors on this banner - not only is the 'b' is missing from 'celebrate', but more importantly, the message itself makes no sense.

Ben explains what he spotted:

"I was at the Spring Singapore Building (at Bukit Merah) on Saturday and I noticed this embarrassing series of banners pasted up all over the building.

"There are two mistakes in the message, a real 'double whammy'.

"What does 'celerate' mean? And the message on the banner makes no sense. Why would we celebrate 'with' our National Day?

"To make things worse they are in such a public place, and repeated all over the facade of the building. Such an embarrassing mistake!"

This is problem of outsourcing again, just blame the vendor who employs FT to paint or print tha banner...it is not the job of the purchasing department to rendomly check the purchases...just blame the vendor..

Maybe makes no difference to them.

I find that some emails makes more sense from the Ah Tiongs after you translate them into Mandarin.

Maybe its an Ah Neh that wrote this? Anyone know enough, Tamil, hindi, Punjabi, Malarayans, Sanskrit, Bangaladish.. etc etc to know if it made sense in them?

Excuse me, your spelling looks to be of comparable standard to that Spring Singapore banner writer. It should be masturbate.
