...according to many sources, 80-90% of those that purchased are people that have not bought a property since their own En-bloc sales.

So there you go. If you think property prices rising again, THINK AGAIN.

Not many en-bloc owners left on the sidelines. Most have now purchased their 'dream' homes.

I think it's bye bye property market from here on.

Singapore property is always popular among the local people as well as the people around the world. It is due to the fact that we have a great PAP government that most people wanted to invest and purchase the property here. Singapore property value will always be at a stable state and will not drop too drastically even during the crisis. Our PAP government has done a great job over the years to let this to happen. Excellent job done by PAP.

I know a lot of enbloc sellers where renting while waiting for the market to cool

They are the smart one. I won't mind paying 3000 to 5000 a month for a good condo for a year or so to wait the property prices to drop, then buy at a reasonable low price. I'll fulfill the sell high, buy low principle. The savings could be 100K to 500K, more than offset the rental.
