S'pore Pools online sports betting & horse wagering to resume from June 15 & 17, 2020
Punters can place their bets via website or mobile apps, or through phone betting.

After more than two months of closure, online betting will resume in the coming days.

This is in line with the progressive easing of circuit breaker measures by the Multi-Ministry Taskforce.

Lottery draws and prize payments remain suspended

From June 15, Singapore Pools will resume online sports betting, while online horse wagering for overseas races will resume on June 17.

Punters can place their bets via website or mobile apps, or through phone betting.

However, all other Singapore Pools outlets, including its branches, authorised retailers, livewire venues and off-course betting centres will remain closed until further notice.

Lottery draws like 4D, TOTO and Singapore Sweep will also be suspended until further notice.

Singapore Pools advises customers who are holding onto tickets for postponed draws to continue retaining these tickets, for upcoming draws.

Prize payment services remain suspended till further notice.

Nevertheless, punters can keep an ear out for announcements that will be made regarding the extension of eligible prize-winning tickets for lottery draws, sports and/or horse racing events held between Oct. 10, 2019 and Apr. 5, 2020, when prize payment services resume.

Closed for over two months

All Singapore Pools outlets were previously closed at the start of circuit breaker on Apr. 7, as they are not considered essential services.
Livewire venues and off-course betting centres for live sports betting and horse racing were closed on Mar. 26.

when you read the headline too fast, you would have thought that Pools is wagering (betting) against itself to open on June 15 or 17. lol.

Siao gao! If he lose, jialat!
Now covid peo are bored! So many more will bet and watch soccer match!

was told Sg Pool online Soccer Bets were created with Attractive Odds.

Especially those matches offering Fixed Odds during those SP early days ie before SP started offering Asian Bookies Types of Odds where you can Eat Balls and or Give Balls.

Those Fixed Odds attracted big bets from people and or Agency local and foreign which needed to balance their Portfolios. Therefore, those big bets.

And , if you compare overseas online odds vis a vis SP you will always find mis matched odds from SP thus attracting big turnover.

some punters commented that SP is a big time online Runner $$$ - taking in huge Bets at funny odds and running to other Online Legal Exchanges to hedge it thus earning the Spread as Profits.

bros , any comments on alleged SP practices ???
