SPH investigating problems in accessing its websites
SINGAPORE: The website of Singapore newspaper The Straits Times (ST) was inaccessible for some parts of Monday -- three days after a section of its website was hacked.
Reports said the ST site could not be accessed for more than an hour on Monday morning, and again in the afternoon.
Other sites operated by its parent company Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), including AsiaOne, were also said to be down.
This incident follows a hacking incident on Friday by someone claiming to be part of international hacker outfit Anonymous.
In a statement, SPH said some users might have had difficulty accessing the website on Sunday night and Monday.
It said its information technology division is investigating the matter. - CNA/nd
