Rude cafe staff barks at me when I'm not clear about promotion
STOMPer Serene misinterpreted a vague promotional poster at a cafe in Yew Tee, but was barked at by the staff instead.
She said:
"The photo shows a promotion at The Cafe Lobby (Yew Tee).
"It was clearly written on the poster that with every $2 purchase in a single receipt, customers will be entitled to a cup of beverage.
"It was not stated that the receipts of purchase made from the fruit stall were not entitled to the drink.
"When I showed the receipt to the beverage counter, the girl barked at me, saying that I should have known it since I had been patronising the stall for the past few days.
"Without the customer support, I doubt that the promotion will be running smoothly.
"The next day when I wanted to make my purchase from the beverage counter, the girl was always busy chatting and totally ignoring me."
