<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->Brien Daniels, 38, the managing partner of an advertising firm, shares with Debbie Yong his impressions of his home, which lends a raw, industrial edge to an Asian style.
Mr Brien Daniels
Managing partner of an advertising firm
Lives in a 120 sq m, five-room HDB flat in Marine Terrace
Shares unit with his fiancee, Ms Desiree Chai, 21.
I love my home because...
It reflects who I am.
My decor theme is...
Asian and industrial. I chose this theme because it is a nice blend of Asian values and taste, on one hand, and contemporary and raw beauty, on the other.
My favourite corner is...
The living room because it is the most relaxing area. It is comfortable and therapeutic. I spend a lot of time reading, watching TV and just unwinding after a hard day's work.
I'm most proud of...
The bar because I built it myself. I work on my laptop by the bar almost every night. We occasionally have friends over to chill out by the bar as well.
Will I sell it?
Yes, when there is a good offer.
