The single biggest culprit behind the misery of the Palestinians in Gaza is Hamas, which is nothing but a terrorist organization. Israel is doing what it has to rescue its kidnapped civilians; if the beasts from Hamas release the hostages unharmed, then Israel will withdraw. The civilised world can see what is happening there. If Hamas behaves like wild animals, then they deserve to be hunted down like beasts.
