Now I know why Singapore can never cross the threshold of woold standard. It is a forced partrotism, the people are a "captured audience" and have no choice but forced to liek the songs.....all these Singaproe songs sing like some squeezes you in the neck.

Look at those "simple" songs sang in Hong Kong ...by Sam Hui, Hackie Chan....there move your sopul and make you cry. You don't need to be in there to be part of the captured audience to feel you are one of them. You just want to be with them even in bad times.

What's more there was not much special effect and performaners just wore T-Shirts as compare to all the expensive money-can-throw in make-up and hours of rehearshals
