- LW bringing in 30 new candidates is big and only other time is when LKY did sweeping reforms to get rid of deadwood in the 1980s. He is more bold that GCT or LHL. And also I note it is heavy on young technocrats and little on grassroots or party arseholes.
- PAP acknowledging for the first time that they cannot recover any of the WP seats by selecting 5 raw new candidates for 5 out of 6 seats. Others to be revealed by PAP later.
- My guess is Punggol GRC will fall as WP consolidates and widens its backyard. The Pritam Ms Khan Edwin Tong affair is a clear backlash.
- SDP, the only long standing political party with no leadership renewal will fail again as strategy and picking the right battles was never a forte of Chee’s. His new challenge wth POFMA last week continues the saga of playing to the foreign gallery.
- PT would be a guaranteed MP by now with WP. Naive and gullible but honest and genuine as the day is long. Sad.
- PAP will eventually realise that GRC / High deposit strategy that worked very well for 2 decades is now helping WP as less charlatans are allowed in. If PAP removes these barriers, every nutcase and even delusional honest candidates will enter the fray and split opposition votes many times over. We are talking not only about 3 cornered but multil cornered fights. Take the case of Dr Ishaq Rajoo Jay. Does a lot of TickToc, and has no clue about facts or fiction on any subject. Few months ago fitness coach, today F&B entrepreneur, tomorrow bank executive. Same clown said that voting is not secret. More of these clowns adding on to Goh Meng Seng, Desmond Lim, Lim Tean, Chee Soon Juan etc.
- No matter how much of gerrymandering, you cannot exclude new generation of voters who can access world news, won’t rely on Shit Times and have a mind of their own. They know lawsuits and POFMA as BS.
- PAP old guard continuously fucking - Ridout Road saga - Shan, Vic, and last week Viv endorsing Calvin's insensitive and damaging and then claiming his account hacked. This is second time this guy has lied big time.
- LW is intelligent enough to know that he will continue to have 2/3 parliamentary majority and he will work around it.
- WP needs to drop its decades long too rigid internship programme for qualified candidates so busy professionals can enter the fray on their behalf. Making exceptions for minority candidates for all these years with the likes of Ms Khan has not worked either. Best to go on merit of each candidate.
