Ok, just got this info from my reservist mate who has a lawyer friend dealing with this company. The info is quite reliable.

Ok this company actually sells foodstuff in Chinatown. However, the towkay is making big bucks on the side by "selling" work passes to PRC MMs wanting to work here. From what I heard, S-passes are involved and he has got 14 PRC MMs using his company quota to apply for work passes here.

The deal is this, the PRC MM will first pay S$10,000 for the company to sponsor him for the work pass. I presumed that for S-pass, the company is declaring $1,800 as the salary for the PRC MM. Every month, the PRC MM will go back to office in Chinatown to sign off saying that they have received the salary (of course they don't receive anything lah). Also, every month, they will have to pay $500 fee to the company cause the company need to pay levy to MOM (but levy is a lot less than the $500 lah). Hence, in a way, the company/towkay is getting a recurrent stream of income from these PRC MMs for using their quota to get work passes. Anyone who doesn't pay up will get her pass cancelled. My reservist friend told me that the company is giving a lot of fancy titles to the PRC MM, like sales manager etc. Most are recruited as "sales" people to do sales outside of the company.

Of course lah, these PRC MMs are actually selling themselves outside lah. They are all told that if they are caught (say, in KTVs), they must keep their mouths shut and call the company. The company will then immediately go with the lawyer to bill them out the next day, giving the reason that the PRC MM, as a sales person, is entertaining customers. Then after the PRC MM is out, they will immediately ship them out of Singapore, leaving no witness.

Apparently, this has been going on for quite awhile already and some girls were caught and sent back. On thing I'm not sure is that how cum our police so stupid to continue let this kind of company run their illegal operation like that...

One more thing, they can also help the girls to get PR (ie, as a sponsor). girl pay $2500 deposit and after getting PR, pay another $2500.

Actually, my reservist friend told me that the girls are stupid. Cause even if a company doesn't officially "sponsor", inidvidual work pass holder or EP holder can apply PR on their own. The application form does not require company to endorse or sign...

That is exactly what is happening now. The companies are getting fucked from PRC girls that are caught.

Of course AV tell the girls to fuck the companies so that they get off 'lightly'. But no such things.

If a PRC girl gets caught...2 things will happen.

1. They are sent back within 48 hours.
2. They get a white card to work here and be a STATE WITNESS against the KTV. She could remain here and work for as long as 3-6 months until the case against the KTV is finished. BUT, after the case, they are sent back and NEVER ABLE TO RETURN TO S'PORE FOREVER.

They can always come back. I got a maid who came in with 2 different names on 2 passports. She finished her contract with us and went back. Then one day after a year, she called us from her new employer asking me to help her to transfer the employment to us. I got her back but noticed her new name she got on the passport. :p

Some more monthlt salary can declare as company expenses. Less income tax those salary will be pocket without tax,
