Hi Friends
At the rally (24 Aug 2011) he praised Jee Say profusely for being a filial son; took care of his aged mother til she died.
This is indeed something to be proud of and it is definitely worth trumpeting.
Not many Singaporeans are like that.
Some people see their parents as great burdens and treat them like footballs;
to be kicked and passed around to other siblings until they had nowhere to go and ended up in food courts cleaning tables
or on the streets picking cardboard boxes and aluminium cans.
But noble Tan Jee Say is not like that.
His newphew is proud of him. So am I.
