Delwin paid $7 for a mere 14 la-la clams at Chomp Chomp's Boon Tat Street BBQ. To make things even worse, the clams were quite stale.
Here's what the upset STOMPer had to say:
"These incredibly expensive la-la clams cost $7 at Chomp Chomp's Boon Tat Street BBQ.
"There were a total of 14 clams. This means that each clam cost $0.50!
"To add insult to injury, the la-las were not fresh. Stale to say the very least.
"When the stall assistant delivered the la-la clams to our table, we asked him how much the la-las was. He said $7.
"Then, he was a bit pai-seh (embarassed) because he knew the portion was miserable.
"When he brought it back to the other stall attendant to ask him to increase the portion, he was unimpressed and insisted that the portion was $7.
"I reiterate, there were only 14 la-las!"
