<!-- story content : start --> SINGAPORE Prison Service director Ng Joo Hee handed over command of his post to his successor Soh Wai Wah at a ceremony on Thursday. Mr Soh, 46, who has been the police chief of staff since 2004, will assume his new post on Jan 1 next year. The one-hour ceremony held at the Prison Link Centre, was attended by about 200 prison officers, senior officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs and invited guests. Mr Soh told reporters: 'I hope to lead the prison service to engage more with the community.' Mr Ng, 43, who has been prison director for the past two years, will assume his new role as Commissioner of Police on Feb 1 next year.
