this is very contradicting. snakes are such slimmy and yucky crawlies but after they are skinned, chopped and minced up, an assortment of snakes meat are turned into a very nutritious yummy soup.
to fully enjoy this unique food, it should be garnished with shredded pomelo leaves, fried crispy wan tan skin and a dash of white wine. it suppose to purify the blood and improves vitality. usually it's available during cold season in HK.
it is reputated to be aphrodisaic and really "warms" u up after consumption.
