A lot of tiongs living and working in sinkie land behave as if the island is part of China; it is rather common to see them walking into public toilets and not paying the tip of 10 cents to the cleaner sitting at the counter or taking up the double seat in public buses and ignoring other passengers standing near them or cutting queue at food stalls in hawkers' centres.

So, this bus driver showing his FO signal is nothing new or surprising. He might have felt that sinkie land owed him a living for being a tiong.
