Kuala lumpur - An excavator driver was shocked to find skeletal remains at a ravine near the trunk road from Ampang to Ulu Langat.
He spotted the skeleton at KM3 Jalan Ampang-Ulu Langat at about 11am yesterday while doing road maintenance works.
Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Amiruddin Jamaluddin said a police and forensic team were sent to the scene.
"The remains were found in a ravine 15m away from main road.
"We have yet to identify the remains," he said.
Police refused to comment on whether the remains could be that of missing South Korean businessman Kim Chong-yong, 53, who was believed to have been killed by a fellow Kor*ean.
It was reported the victim was last seen in the Mont Kiara area where he met an acquaintance on the evening of Oct 29.
A missing person report was lodged at the Ampang police station.
