A 16-YEAR-OLD judoka from StJoseph's Institution (SJI) has been hospitalised following a Schools National Championships bout.
Tan Ser Yung, a Secondary 4 student, felt unwell after Tuesday's B Boys middleweight (73kg and under) semi-final against Hwa Chong Institution's (HCI) Ong Wee Koon, which he lost.
He consulted the medical team on standby at Hougang Secondary School, where the championships were staged, but fell unconscious shortly after that.
