Six foreigners charged with kidnapping 3 Indian nationals

PETALING JAYA: Six foreigners were charged at the magistrate's court here with kidnapping three Indian nationals for a ransom of 300,000 rupees (RM22,200).
Pakistanis Nadeem Ashraf Muhamma, 30, Maghfoor Ali, 32, Asif Ali Ghulam, 27, and Indian nationals Sameer Pallickal Abdulla, 29, N. Raja R. Narayanasamy, 26, and Sajad Ahmad Mir, 38, were charged with three charges of kidnapping Nirmal Singh, Kuldeep Singh and Gurdal Singh.
The group allegedly committed the offence at a house in Rawang, Gombak at about 11am on Nov 11. No plea was recorded.
Magistrate Mohamad Ibrahim Mohammad Ghulam fixed Jan 11, next year for mention.
All of the accused were unrepresented while deputy public prosecutor Siti Fatimah Yahya appeared for the prosecution.
