</TR><!-- headline one : end --><!-- show image if available --></TBODY></TABLE>

<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->I REFER to last Thursday's Forum Online letter by Mr David Foo, 'Hit by $2,000 bill for downloading on mobile phone'.
We have contacted Mr Foo and are currently resolving his concerns.
Whenever a user accesses the Internet via a PC or mobile phone, the browser can be redirected to numerous Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and it is not practical to store such details.
In addition, to protect our customers' privacy, our billing systems capture only information relevant to their billing needs like date and time of accessing data, usage volume and charges. Such information is generally sufficient for most customers' reference.
Customers can minimise their roaming charges by switching off their data roaming features on their mobile phones when travelling overseas.
As SingTel is also a member of Bridge Alliance, customers can save up to 90 per cent when they sign up for a Bridge DataRoam plan through its one flat data rate across the region.
