Telco missed point

I REFER to Saturday's Forum Online reply by SingTel ("mio TV viewers pay for only what they wish to watch") to my letter, "Why charge for a service that's not required?" (last Tuesday).
SingTel has completely missed the point. Customers who want access to only mio TV should not be made to pay for SingTel's fixed-line telephone service as we do not need this latter service.
With regard to the rental charge for the first set-top box, basic tier subscription or any other required set-up for mio TV, I will gladly pay for them.
