However, the GST was calculated on the amount before the rebate. When queried, the service staff checked with the billing section which confirmed this was correct but did not explain why the calculation was done in this manner.
What this means is that I have been charged $1.40 in GST on the $20 which I had not been billed. Can SingTel explain why it has adopted this policy? Wee Gek Sian
