I too have had disappointing experiences with Speedpost. I frequently order items via USPS from the United States. On numerous occasions, I received the parcel only a few weeks after it arrived in Singapore.
My latest parcel was not so fortunate. Deciding not to wait, I contacted Speedpost to inquire about it. My e-mail messages went unanswered. I got to speak to a customer service officer eventually, and learnt that the status of my package was unknown. I have since been informed that the package is lost.
It seems to me there is a culture of pathological irresponsibility in SingPost.
