The customer who had previously complained about the food and stingray lagoon at a resort on Pulau Ubin has demanded four VIP tickets to Universal Studios Singapore as well as a seafood feast for six at Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant as compensation.
In an earlier article, the customer had previously complained that he was forced to order seafood spaghetti when the deal he had purchased online had promised lobster spaghetti. He also claimed that the stingray lagoon conditions were murky and scary.
To make amends resort staff had offered him:
1. The Lobster Spaghetti meal
2 A night’s free stay in a standard room for two
He had since declined these, and instead asked for:
1. Four VIP tickets to Universal Studios Singapore
2. A seafood 'feast' for six, at the resort's expense
Staff from the resort had replied to the customer as follows:
"We have offered you an apology in writing, a re-invitation for the Lobster Spaghetti meal plus a night’s free stay in our standard room for two.
"We have also requested a meet-up with you at your chosen time and place of convenience which to our regret, has been turned down.

They have also clarified that the stingrays at the lagoon have had their stings removed, and therefore pose no threat to snorkelers.
