SINGAPORE — A man was charged on Thursday (Aug 22) with allegedly trespassing into a residential property owned by his ex-girlfriend and assaulting a man there in Feb 2023.
The same man, Lincoln Lim Jun Hong, 34, was charged earlier this year with assaulting a woman at a nightclub, Marquee Club, in September 2022.
In court on Thursday, Lim was charged with trespassing into a unit along Bidadari Park Drive at 1.30 am on Feb 20, 2023 where he allegedly shouted and attacked the property owner's guest and caused him to suffer a fracture to his left thumb.
Charge sheets stated that Lim had punched the victim on his head, chest and rib area. This prompted the victim to raise his arms to block the attack in defence, causing him to suffer from the fracture.
He was charged with voluntarily causing hurt to the man.

Lim appeared in court dressed in a black T-shirt and was represented by Lawyer Benjamin Gabriel Sew from the law firm Gurdip and Gill.
The court heard that the unit he trespassed belongs to his ex-girlfriend. Court documents did not indicate how Lim knew the victim and why they fought.

In January, Lim was charged with voluntarily causing hurt to a woman at the Marquee Club.
At the nightclub on Sept 4, 2022, Lim, together with Mervyn Goh En Wei, from 2.23am to 2.25am, allegedly punched, kicked and pushed a woman, resulting in her suffering from injuries, the charge sheet stated.
These included bruises to her left arm and right shoulder.
The Marquee Club incident was the subject of social media posts by a friend of the alleged victim.
For voluntarily causing hurt while not intending to be grievous even though it actually is grievous, Lim can be jailed for up to five years, fined up to S$10,000, or both.
Those who commit criminal trespass can be jailed for up to three months, fined up to S$1,500, or both.
Any person convicted of voluntarily causing hurt can be jailed for up to three years, fined up to S$5,000, or both.
