Note that the YOG is not featured anywhere. With the start of EPL, La Liga and the other premier European football leagues, it looks like sports fans will be watching anything but YOG.

For those who have the misfortune of having to attend a YOG event, please help document this $400 million FAILURE. Please take pictures, videos etc of the crowd and upload this so that there will be a PERMANENT RECORD of this FAILURE.

If they waste their airtime (paid by subscribers) on YOG, an avalanche of cancellation ranging from subscribers being bored to being disgusted could be expected, and new subscription would grind to a standstill.

MDA of course appoints MediCorp as "official" broadcaster and proudly announce that YOG is comprehensively covered "free."

So disappointing. SingTel andd Starhub did not charge viewers more than World cup to broadcast YOG to subscribers. I am sure it would had been brisk as many would have rushed to subscribe.

Now we cannot see pole-dancing by a striptease. So sad.

Despite charging Singaporeans one of the highest rates in the world to watch WC 2010, Starhub/Singtel tried to sell koyok that they did Singaporeans a favour by broadcasting it. At the recent recent release of their quarterly results, both were whining about how they had lost $ on WC 2010. The Singtel CEO was seen violently doing tai-chi to shift away the blame that it had anything to do with their EPL bid.

That's true. Just checked out the online guide and found that there are something like 5 YOG channels inlcuding one YOG news channel.

While there are many channels, there does not seem to be any advertisement and promotion of the channels. Both Singtel and Starhub websites do not feature YOG as a program highlight for August. There are no paid advertisements by commercial sponsors to associate themselves with the YOG. For example there is no YOG McDonald's advertisement.

It will be good if we can have a large amount of media coverage of the events. This will allow more opportunities to gather empirical evidence to document the FAILURE of the YOG. I was getting worried that the MSM would reduce coverage of the YOG so that it could be buried and we can quickly move on.

Both starhub and Singtel are run by incompetent morons and idiots of the highest order:p if they wouldnt had been so childish in their bitching..FIFA and EPL would not have their eyes open big big...in the end we the consumers have to suffer,,i think the guys from SBFare much capable to manage this two idiots company with bro Ram and TeeKee in charge:p
