In the blind pursuit of growth, we have allowed all kinds of undesirable activities. These activities have existed on a small scale for very long but now they are formalised and sanctioned by the authorities.

Today marks the acceleration of the downward slide. I feel extremely sad for Singapore. I am filled with sadness that we have come to this stage.

I saw some hope when Las Vegas Sands shares collapsed 95% during the crisis, but we have pulled out all stops to make sure the two casinos open.

SINGAPORE: The Resorts World at Sentosa Integrated Resort has been awarded its casino licence.

In a brief statement posted on its website, the Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore said the licence was granted on Saturday.

Previously, Resorts World had said it's ready to start operating Singapore's first legal casino as soon as the government issued the gambling licence.

The other integrated resort by Marina Bay Sands is set to open in April after encountering construction delays.

So far, about 3,500 people with serious criminal records have been barred from the two casinos when they open.

In a statement on Friday night, the police said notices called the Commissioner of Police Exclusion Orders will be served on those with a history of crimes related to drugs, illegal moneylending, prostitution and secret societies, among other things.

When it come to Casinos, they are all linked to Drugs, Sex, Acoholism, Gangs, Illegal Money Lending, Family Breakage, Suicide, and Bad Debts...

I hope for the best for SGP, and hope that the social problems will not worsen, not that we don't have any now... but it'll worsen the whole situation...

My sincere and kind words to true blue Singaporeans... BOYCOTT the Casinos, and don't even pay the SGD 100 / 24 hours entry fee... let these sinful places be populated by the sinful and greedy...

that's right, singapore will no longer be the same after the opening of casinos and property prices will plunge from this day onwards. Some of my friends have even predicted that singapore will be a country of vices and will no longer be a safe country and many will leave. They are now planning to migrate and so does many others. Things are going to be very gloomy for singaporeans.

The first time I arrived in Las Vegas, the gambling city of US, I could see news reported of gunshots on TV very frequently...

I wonder if this is going to be the things to come for this country..
