what about buses and trucks? they’re still polluting the roads with destructive sexhaust. cars and suvs are now so clean compared to these commercial vehicles in sg.

Not realistic to make trucks and buses to wait for hours to charge, so trials are being planned to test hydrogen vehicles for Class 5 vehicles.
 
Even the charging time for E - cars is not practical also...

Hydrogen made from hydrocarbons will emit carbon during poduction phase as it turns lng into hydrogen. Unleas carbon capture facilities are used.
Might as well use lng powered trucks.

EV's batteries are like smartphone batteries, once deteriorate over a few years, car owners need to charge their cars more frequently. And based on Singapore high costs of living, and sinkies' stingy mentality, they will try not to change the battery, some probably charge until batteries bloated and probably explode.

for heavier commercial vehicles, since they don’t need to be slick and sexy they can be designed with a replaceable battery bank like changing underwear. don’t need to recharge and wait. just change from depleted bank to fully charged bank. of course the battery bank(s) will have to be standardized across all commercial vehicles (so 3rd party shops and kiosks can provide battery change service) and offered with various battery bank sizes (20-ft trucks vs 40-ft rigs vs 18-wheelers vs vans).

Everyone should equipment one pmd at home. It is a strategic tool.
bicycle is best. don’t need to recharge. usable in any disasters or wars. in any emergency when the electric grid shuts down or is damaged, a bicycle becums man’s best friend after the dog. in fuckyoushima’s case (earthquake followed by tsunami followed by nuclear plant disaster), the only transport contraption among survivors that works is da bicycle.
