SINGAPORE: President S R Nathan will attend the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing from Tuesday to Saturday (August 12-16) to show support for Team Singapore.

While in Beijing, President Nathan will meet Chinese President Hu Jintao.

China's Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi will call on President Nathan.

After Beijing, President Nathan will visit Henan Province, where he will meet Party Secretary Xu Guangchun and Acting Governor Guo Gengmao.

President Nathan will return to Singapore on August 18.
