Save your children before its too late. Foreigners have the option of either going to private schools run for foreigners such as the American school, United World College, Canadian school etc or public schools. Singaporeans don't have that choice. Summer programs at Private schools are open to foreign kids studying at public schools but they are not open to Singaporean kids.
1) Stop overaged foreign kids competing with your kids and stealing all the honours on an uneven playing field.
2) Stop foreign kids grabbing places in good schools while local kids despite scoring well such as 6AIs lose out.
3) Demand that the millions of dollars given to foreign kids as scholarship are used to upgrade the standard of Education for all Singapore kids not just for the elite schools.
4) Raise our standard of English to that of 1970s and before so that we can compete with the best.
5) Reveal the following to all Singaporean parents
- the amount of scholarship given to foreigners from Primary to University
- reveal the intake of foreigners in each school and university
6) Minister of Education to sign a statutory declaration that foreign student cut-off points for university intake are the same or higher than Singaporean kids
Do it for your kids.
