The bubble down-under has burst.Jobs have been lost. Unemployment soars.People can't afford much luxuries. Queuing for free food is okay.

When will Singaporeans start queuing for free food and free loldging ? Will we? We're among the luckiest people in the world. Will our people queue for free food soon. Or is there anything to queue for???

back on 31st December in year 1999 and in the first few weeks of 2000, hordes of Singaporeans queued around various McDonalds outlets for Hello Kitty plush toys... if i recalled correctly, they even fought over it... :p:p

A very good point and how very true.

In fact, makapaa should post his famous two pics again, one of the Lees gorging on air flown fresh food vs ordinary peasants' fare. The former was shamelessly flaunted on national tv and the latter is reality for peasants. Those contrasting two pics spoke volumes of the difference between the rulers and the ruled.
