SGP employee very sad failing to get retrenched

Funny but true here this is Singapore for you. I was sitting alone in a fastfood place to have a meal. Next to my table 3 colleges from don't know where were talking and I could hear everything.
The subject was their company's retrenchment going on.
One guy was retrenched talking about the retrenchment benefits he is expecting to get.
Another very disappointed that he did not get retrenched! He said he need money to pay debt and was hoping like hell to get retrenched, and he think his chance was good but very disappointed now that the company had kept him!
To these people retrenchment is alike durians which they are awaiting to fall from the tree. They are unhappy when others got it and they don't. Very short sighted Singaporeans aim only for very short term benefits.
This is a very sick and crazy country.
After reading this post and many like that, Singaporeans deserve the Garment that is screwing them left right center.
Singaporeans are really sick in the head, no balls, with short memory.
No wonder we are called balls-less and pig heads by foreigners.
Not even Tan Kin Leng can awaken the living dead; only perhaps 500-600.
We are being laughed at by the whole world. Yet when we are being screwed in the arse by the Ministars, we bend even lower and ask for more please. Sick ball-less people.
Heard someone's sister is now Head of education. Is there only ONE extended link in Singapore?
Heard Woodie Goh's son is heading the largest private medical group in Singapore. How can public and private medical group come under ONE such link? Not healthy ok.
How many more such ONE links in Singapore's Companies? Too SIANZ to write but there are MANY. May some kind people here please link the links for me. Thanks!
