A Singaporean man filed a complaint against his Thai girlfriend after she allegedly drugged him at a hotel in Bangkok and stole cash and valuables worth over 1 million baht.

The Singaporean victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, complained to Huay Kwang Police Station yesterday, June 25. He explained that he met the Thai woman, aged about 30, online and had been talking to her for over four years before meeting in person on June 19, the day of the incident.

The man said he travelled to Thailand to meet her. They dined together before staying at a hotel in Bangkok.

Unfortunately, the Singaporean awoke the next day to discover the Thai girl disappeared with his valuables, including a Rolex watch, cash, and designer clothes. The watch alone was worth approximately 1.5 million baht.

Officers reviewed security footage at the hotel and nearby until they identified the woman as 33 year old Kittiyaporn. She has three outstanding arrest warrants for theft issued by Lampakchee Police Station in Bangkok’s Nong Chok district and Mueang Pattaya Police Station.

Further investigation provided the police with a clue to Kittiyaporn’s location, and officers believe they will apprehend her soon.

The Singaporean victim stated that he was quite confident the woman was a good match for him as they had been talking for a long time. However, things did not go as expected. He has become wary of starting new relationships and will be more cautious when meeting women in the future.

A similar story was reported in March of 2022, when two Thai women drugged a Kuwaiti man at a Bangkok hotel, stealing cash and belongings worth around 150,000 baht.

Another related incident occurred in March when a Thai woman stole credit cards from a Chinese man she met on a dating app. The woman initially denied the theft and even accused the victim of attempted rape
