Singaporean cannot take jokes, I am moving to Canada

ON MONDAY, I was walking near Cavenagh Bridge, just outside the Asian Civilisations Museum in Empress Place, when a man asked me if I had spotted a snake in the vicinity.
Soon after, a "snake" fell on me from above. I was then informed that I had been filmed for the television series Just for Laughs, which features pranks played on ordinary people who are filmed by hidden cameras.

Although I requested that the crew not use the footage, they could not give me a definite "yes" for an answer.

Did it not occur to the producers that such a childish and senseless prank would compromise the safety and well-being of passers-by?

I was carrying a cup of hot tea and with the scare I lost my footing and almost slipped and scalded myself. I consider myself fortunate that I did not fall and suffer any injury as a result, and dread to imagine the consequences if such a prank had been pulled on someone with a weak heart or on an elderly person.

I have a good sense of humour and can appreciate even the driest of Brit humour. However, I am not a fan of these Candid Camera type shows. The reason is because the pranks, if not properly thought out can be inconsiderate or a downright waste of peoples' time. Another observation is that people who like to prank may not be very sporting when they are pranked in return.

Candid camera type of pranks must be tasteful. In fact, most candid camera clips that I had seen are tasteless and filled with dry humor.

I just don't understand why we still follow such sub-standard production and be a copy-cat.

People won't mind being embarrassed a little if they live in a rich country blessed with social security and human rights.... like canada. In sg, live is stressful and oppressive. All it takes is a little shove for pple to go over the edge.

TS should get herself a good litigation lawyer........ many moons ago there was one Moe A****f guy that was doing the same type of gags for TV...... was sued by some "unwillingly" participants in his show until kenna run road :p

Watched a video clip sometime back. It was some Russian TV show and they had this similar program. The TV rep played a trick on a guy on the sidewalk of the street, but this guy not only did not appreciate the prank, he pulled out a revolver from his pocket and shot the TV guy right in front of the camera and walked away.

Your post is a hoax because there are no snakes when pigs are the majority.
