Singapore envoy to visit Romonia next month

my paper
SINGAPORE ambassador Anil Kumar Nayar, who is based in Brussels, has been appointed as a special envoy to Romania, and will visit the country next month with a team of legal experts to help the country's officials in their case against former diplomat Silviu Ionescu.
The move comes as Singapore's wait for Romania to confirm when its officials will arrive to review evidence against Dr Ionescu enters its fourth week.
The review is necessary before Dr Ionescu, who is alleged to have hit three pedestrians in Bukit Panjang Road on Dec 15 last year, can be prosecuted.
Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs met Romanian ambassador Aurelian Neagu yesterday, and told him that the delay only "fuelled speculation about Romania's seriousness and intentions".
