Off roads, racers are useless. On roads, Mountain Bikes still triumph, because when you fall on roads (which has a higher chance of happening when riding racers vs mountain bikes, see video below, which might not have happened on a mountain bike), you could kena crushed by cars and heavy vehicles immediately after. So everyone should ride mountain bikes instead of racers (such as those bunch of pretentious Lycra suit-wearing with atas superior-to-you attitudes), even on roads.
