[Singapore] - Elderly cleaner Mr Zeng, 63 cries on the phone on day 8 of isolation order, he had been surviving on canned food for 8 days

When Mr Zeng, 63, finally got hold of someone on the phone line who was able to help, he was on day eight of an isolation order and had run out of food at home.

Crying over the phone, the senior who lives alone in the western part of Singapore told volunteers from social enterprise SG Assist he had been surviving on canned food for eight days.

By then, Mr Zeng, who works in cleaning services, no longer had any rations left.

Seniors like him face many challenges trying to abide by Covid-19 regulations, even as the Government has simplified the rules.

Hopefully these Pioneer, Merdeka, (whatever they call these oldies)and their families who died in the name of endemic (is it a new religion?) and those now unable to even eat their meals at hawker centres and enter shopping malls will not regret that they have given absolute power to an incompetent bunch of cruel people.
Are the tokens any different from the ankle bracelets or electronic tags worn by criminals on probation?.
Is discrimination against those unvaccinated different from racial or other forms of social discrimination?
Are they outcast of society?

Vaccination is a personal choice but laws to protect public health and our healthcare sytem still rest with the gahmen of the day.

You still don't get it, do you? Some people are really dumb and cannot grasp simple logic. I can see that more education is needed to tell dimwits why vaccination is needed to dine in as well as being in places where crowds gather such as malls. It's not to discriminate but for the good of all. Unvaxxed people are more likely to die or get seriously ill from covid. So to prevent them from burdening the healthcare system when they get seriously sick, they are banned from places where large crowds gather.

It's a simple reason, but will take dimwits like you another year or two to understand why unvaxxed cannot dine in and go to crowded places....

My sympathy to Mr Zeng depends on the answer to the question: Who did he voted for? Otherwise, Mr Zeng, you deserve it!!
