The last time the PM spoke I think was the Table Tennis something.

Did he get doped and become aa kao (dumb as in cannot speak)?

Mas Selamat Case slow response, simi lan cheow also slow response, economy bo ho let other show face, budget talk let shiny baldy show.

Is it because his hubby Ho Jinx lost so money until cannot speak? or kena kick out of bed because no direct and immediate dip into reserves to save her face. (Anyway she go Brazil for nip/tuck also no use one la)

If he say the wrong things he gets screwed. And because he misspeaks a lot, and cracks the wrong type of jokes(see the <a href="http://www.sammyboy.com/showthread.php?t=15723&page=3">youtube thread by Zeitgeist</a>), its possible that he decided not to speak at all, in order not to put his own foot into his own mouth.

But this makes him look like a distant leader, managing from an arm's length, or even further away than that.

Let's be honest, the hat is just too big for his small head. He should not be a PM in the first place. Goh Chok Tong should be laughing too. Anyway, it seems to me that he is competing with prataman for doing less and earning more. His daddy is so old liao and yet appearing more than the son. Sad. He should resign immediately and give way to potential guy - like Silvia Lim, Steve Chia, Dr Chee, Siew Kum Hong or Tan Kin Lian...just to name a few.

It is ridiculous to ask our great PM Lee to resign and step down just because of this crisis. He is doing fine and trying to help as much as possible during this tough period. Have confidence with our great PAP government, we will overcome the crisis again.

Yeah, he's doing a lot for our own confidence by remaining consistently silent. That's gonna help for sure.

He is always busy with coming out with great plans and policies to help facilitate the majority of Singaporeans. He has dedicate certain announcement notices to his great PAP ministers. We can't possibly expect him to conduct and appear in all the public talks and announcement.

Tell that to President Obama, who knows what a top leader should do, and has been in the headlines more than ever. Front and centre.

What has LHL done in the process? He hasn't even defended or commentated on Tharman's budget positively. I mean, I do see Kevin Rudd defending Wayne Swan, the Treasury minister in the Australian Parliament during the stimulus package debate in September 2008.

If Kevin Rudd can do that, and if President Obama can do that in the last few days, why not PM LHL? Why keep quiet consistently? He's the PM, and he should set the tone of the debate. Be in charge.

Our great PM Lee has already announced that the Budget schemes will be 'extraordinary' before our great financial minister's official announcement. There is no need any official announcing support to the public as to how great the schemes was cos the majority of the Singaporeans knows it is a great Budget schemes. Besides, our great PAP government members all are very organized and always work as a team to come out with all the great plans to help the majority people in Singapore. To add extra note, our great PAP government can't possibly satisfy every single person in Singapore as no government in this world can. So, the majority of the people in Singapore is satisfy with the current schemes. If the situation gets worse, surely our great PAP government will do further cuts and rebates measures to help Singapore to sail through this tough crisis. Well done PAP.
