According to my kopitiam kaki, a retired SIA staff, any MP who buys an SIA economy ticket for private travel, will be automatically upgraded to First Class, gratis.
My informant retired from SIA more than a decade ago. Hence, I am wondering if the policy still stands and also if the privilege is extended to family members accompanying the MP? What other perks, privileges and concessions MPs are entitled to in their personal capacity?
