SINGAPORE: A Singapore-bound Airbus A380 had to turn around and land in Hong Kong after experiencing problems with the aircraft's landing gear.

A Singapore Airlines (SIA) spokesperson told MediaCorp the flight from Hong Kong had about 400 passengers.

The flight which took off at 3.20pm made its way back to Hong Kong International Airport at about 4.45pm.

The spokesperson added SIA is making arrangements to transfer affected passengers to other flights.

It said ground engineers in Hong Kong are still investigating the matter.

A380 was built by so many European community, their computer system doesn't talk to each other.
from the start they have problem already. So come to no surprised!

That big Jumbo A380 have so many problem from day one.
Must solve all the problem by simplify all the system. Too many system on board make the problem hard to solve.
1st must reduce all the useless thing on board eg. entertaiment/electronic(wiring using more electri energy and need extra/bigger generator), toilet, light, extra thing in cargo. Reduce the weight will reduce the load on engine and body. After reduce the weigh at the same time find the replacement for the landing gear which are too big and heavy. Less weight on plane also less weight load on landing gear and all the hydraulic system/tank.
All have to go back to the basic drawing.
