There's a difference though. In the AMDK's case, the cam is in the same position, it's just that it swivels from facing forwards to facing backwards. Selfie stick can be made invisible, according to videos showing how to use this type of cam. So it appears to be floating. Cam can do also panoramic, sweep different angles etc.
