Mystery of the glowsticks in a bottle in Orchard Road
STOMPer elmoworld spotted a group of teens along Orchard Road bearing coloured bottles with glowsticks in them, and wonders what they were up to.
In an email to STOMP yesterday (Sept 20), the STOMPer said:
“A group of teens were seen along Orchard Road bearing coloured bottles with glowsticks in them.
“They also stopped outside Ion Orchard to gather their bottles together. I found it extremely weird for glowsticks to be put in the bottles, but kids were really attracting a lot of attention.
“They appeared to be doing some form of flashmob.
“A veteran street shopper, elmoworld notes that this is the first of its kind.
“That's definitely a new use for glowsticks!”
