This is what happens when low SES folks try to overcompensate too much to show how well they are doing in life. They also love to post various 'glamorous' selfies or couple or family photos on social media to emphasize this.

Now let's see how the high SES people buy a car.

This guy shared something really useful. When we buy something expensive, it does not mean we should because we have enough money. We should only buy when it does not affect our cash flow. There are many marginal car owners who are still hanging onto their prized possession, when it is draining them of their life savings.

The really rich people I know go out of their way not to appear to have money. Otherwise too many kidnap attempts.

Some of them dress up as beggars outside the Waterloo Street temple too.
I went to school with some of them. They just wear jeans and Tshirt. But always keep a low profile and only give their contacts to someone they trust. And they never ever publicize their lifestyle on social media like that

A family guy driving a audi supercar. Very difficult to sell due to hefty taxes and maintenance. Huge depreciation. Very odd colour every where he drives people will know.

He should switch to a red Mercedes instead. This model does not require a COE.

Bicycle not like in Japan where nobody steal. Must bring into premise where you go. So nobody will know.
A tall and menacing-looking Sikh man walked into a pub one night. After a few drinks, he went outside and found his bicycle missing. He suspected that it was the work of pranksters, and warned that if his bike was not returned to its original spot, "I will do what I did last year, and I hate to repeat what I did last year at this same pub." While he was speaking, two frightened men slipped out by the back door, and quietly returned the bicycle to its original location. As the Sikh man walked out of the pub, the bartender asked "What exactly did you do last year which you hate to repeat?" The big sized Sikh replied "I had to walk all the way home."

My neighbour has the same R8. Older model. He parks it under his porch, and exposed to the rain and weather and heat. I haven't seen him drive it in months.
