Suhartutik, 23, allegedly used the 85cm-long wooden pole on Madam Lin Siew Ting, giving her a 5cm-long cut on her head.
The alleged assault took place at the North Vale condominium in Choa Chu Kang Loop on Thursday.
Madam Lim, a housewife in her 40s, was treated in hospital.
The prosecution asked the case to be adjourned, pending a medical report on her.
No one posted bail for her after she was offered $15,000 bail.
The small-built Suhartutik indicated that she wished to plead guilty when asked by District Judge John Ng what she intended to do. If convicted of causing hurt by dangerous weapon, she faces jail time of up to seven years and a fine. She is due back in court on Oct 3.
