Two cars, a black car and a white SUV, were seen parking where an overturned motorcycle was seen lying on the road.
The motorcyclist was lying on the ground and appeared to be injured, recounted the source.
When Shin Min arrived at the scene, the motorcyclist was seen lying on the pedestrian divider in the rain while at least three members of the public stepped forward and offered their assistance.
His motorcycle was at least 10m away from him.
The motorcyclist was believed to be a food delivery rider, as a Grab delivery bag was spotted at the site of the accident, according to Shin Min.
The driver of the white SUV also explained to Shin Min that he was waiting in front of the traffic light when the accident happened, as he initially wanted to turn right to Hougang Avenue 4 to pick up some goods.
However, he became implicated in the accident and collided with the black car, Shin Min reported the driver as saying.
"After the [black] car and motorcycle collided with each other, the motorcyclist was sent flying and fell onto the pedestrian divier. His leg was out of position and appeared to be fractured," the driver added.
According to Shin Min, many vehicles passing by the scene, including buses, could be seen navigating the accident site carefully, especially around the area where the motorcycle was situated.
