The point is - violence never resolves anything & if one choses violence than legal recourse in Rule of Law Singapore, then be prepared for consequences.
No Human is perfect. ALL of us are flawed, & often allow emotions to rule over reason & logic. Acknowledging FACTS of our emotions is one step towards evolution - that faulty emotions may lead to clouded intelligence & sanity that were long held.
There are better ways to resolve difficulties than violence, eg:- by just taking a step back, offer a smile, a few seconds to reason issues over, a ciggie or a cup of coffee, or just a quiet corner with no outsider interferences, etc, than to waste precious dragged out lengthy legal & financial consequences... At times, even lasting friendships can be built up in such manner when issues are resolved...
As for elderly man who lost his tooth, all is not lost, as with our scientific advances in dental health, he can still make dentures or implants to assist him in food consumption. No need to seek for public sympathy, for a choice that he made on his own free will in allowing emotions to rule than better alternatives thru reason & logic attempts as 1st choice. It is not war, but only petty misunderstandings between few....
